ABOUT

I fantasize about color coded calendars and organizational spreadsheets when I’m not outside hiking with my partner and my dog (no…seriously). That stuff you find tedious and overwhelming, I find satisfying and fun! I bring my bubbly personality and energy to all the mundane and detail-oriented tasks you don’t want to do. My brain thrives in environments with lots of moving pieces, and I love bringing order to the chaos.  These skills make me really good at small business admin (think virtual assistant), event support and management, and personal assistance. It also allows you to hand off the parts of your business that are draining your energy.  

 

I have developed and implemented internal systems for nonprofits, small businesses, and artists. I have an irresistible charm that makes me excellent with staff, customer service, and other other front-facing aspects of your business. This is especially handy when you don’t have the bandwidth to put on a friendly face for the Comcast lady who keeps putting you on hold, the HVAC guy who will “be there any minute”, or that frustrated customer who got their appointment date wrong. 

 

I have skillfully managed outdoor education programs, developed and led small business communication plans, and created reliable sustainable systems and structures where before people were just winging it and praying. Not knocking that method, but it makes it hard to delegate or take a vacation. I’m talking about a fully functional and organized document that you can give to staff as you hire that has all the details of your business, and gives them the “how to’s” around the office and with your online systems. A guidebook for customers that walks them through how you host events at your retreat center. An FAQ for staff, customers, or yourself! THIS is what I’m talking about doing! 

 

Through years of studying and traveling, I have become conversational in Spanish. I’m a people person, an animal lover, and great at friendly small talk with strangers. Whether it’s helping a friend pickup slack on a busy Sunday at her restaurant, designing instagram content strategy, or creating the most comprehensive employee manual of all time, I am hardworking and do it with my full heart. Administrative Skills: 

Let me take over your small business admin tasks - from answering phone calls and emails (I’ll answer the same question from potential new clients all day long!) to help with organizing your newsletter communication, and data entry!  â€‹I’ve spent so much time learning different excel and google sheets formulas that I created an entire customized software system for a nonprofit education center’s programs just using google sheets! Did you know you can get totally separate spreadsheets to talk to each other?! 
 

​On a more personal level, let me make sure that your annual doctor’s appointment doesn’t overlap with that important zoom call with a new client…and let me make sure you actually have your annual doctor’s appointment.

Attention to Detail: â€‹

I can book flights, figure out transportation or organize a trip so you don't have to fret. I love the little details that help things flow. I have years of personal experience making sure all those travel details line up well. 

 

I can create your weekly schedule for staff, manage your client appointments and make sure there are no overlaps or gaps that ultimately lose you money or frustrate staff with last minute changes.
